Nataliya Priess at AUREA: A Full Guided Breathwork Session
Nataliya Priess, a technology startup founder and breathwork guide, leads the full thirty-three minute morning session at AUREA I: a two-part connected breath, an inner child sequence, sound release, and a closing visualization sent around the room.

Before a single breath was taken, the organizers shut the room down. Vendors were told to stop selling, side conversations stopped, and anyone without a mat was sent to the pyramid in the healing temple to find one. Then Nataliya Priess took the microphone and gave the room about ninety seconds of instruction. "We have not much time to explain. It is going to be a psychedelic experience if you breathe correctly. So please breathe the way I ask you to."
Priess is a technology founder who also guides breathwork, and this is the full session she led on the morning of AUREA I, recorded end to end. The video runs forty-two minutes. The guided practice is about thirty-three of them, from her first instruction to the moment she tells the room to take the masks off their eyes.
What kind of breathwork session this is
A two-part connected breath, done lying down, with the eyes covered and the mouth open the whole way through. Music runs underneath the entire session, and the phases change when the songs change.
Priess asks the room to lie flat, leave the eye mask on, and follow her voice. There is no posture work, no technique to memorize, and no talking. The only job is the breath and whatever the breath brings up.
The exact breathing pattern she asks for
Two connected inhales and one exhale, with the exhale always through the mouth. "Inhale through the belly, chest. Exhale through the mouth. So the whole session we breathe through the mouth."
She had the room practice it sitting up before anyone lay down. The mouth should be open wide, wide enough to fit a finger between your teeth, and it stays open. The image she gave for the shape of the breath was a big wave. Once the active round begins around eleven minutes in, her cues get very short and very repetitive: "Inhale. Inhale. Exhale." and "The only way is through the mouth."
Why she tells the room it will feel psychedelic
Because sustained connected breathing changes your state without any substance involved, and she says so plainly before starting rather than letting people discover it mid-session. Her one condition is that you breathe the way she asks.
That is the whole of what she says about the effect. She does not screen the room, give medical guidance, or name any contraindication anywhere in the recording. What she does do, dozens of times across the session, is repeat the instruction to keep breathing and keep the mouth open.
What the first phase of the session is for
Settling. For the length of the first song the room breathes normally through the nose while she talks people down into the body, and the active mouth breathing does not begin for another four minutes after that.
Her language here is about putting things down. Exhaling any tension, exhaling "any way we are holding ourselves to be." She names the room as "this healing space, feeling safety and perfect love all around us," then asks for the field to open and for each person to connect to their higher self. If you are following along at home, this is the part that is easy to skip and worth not skipping.
The inner child sequence at the middle of the session
About fifteen minutes in, the breathing stops being the point and the memory does. She asks you to request that your highest self show you yourself as a small child, and then she asks that child two questions: "What made you happy? What you wanted to be?"
Five minutes later the questions turn. "Where did you lose your way?" and then, harder, "Did you betray yourself?" This is where the room in the recording audibly breaks. She invites the sound rather than managing it: exhale with a sound, and if it wants to be a scream, scream. Then she has everyone shake. "Shake it up. Move your body. Your shoulders. Move that energy out of your body."
What she has you tell your younger self
One sentence, delivered twice, to two different versions of you. First to the child: look into those eyes, look at that innocence, and say "You can be anything you want."
Then at about twenty-seven minutes she brings up the eighteen-year-old version of you. Same instruction, same eye contact, same sentence. The repetition is deliberate. She is not asking you to think it; she is asking you to say it to a specific face.
How the session closes
With light, and then with the rest of the room. She has you relax back down and put a white light in the middle of your chest, which she names as unconditional love, then let it expand until it fills the body.
Then it goes outward. She asks each person to send that light from their own heart to the heart of every other person lying on the floor of that building. After that she points forward to the highest version of the life: "Joy, abundance, love." Then the return, which she keeps short. Come back to the body, take off the mask, "welcome back."
What happened in the room immediately afterward
Kirtan. The recording keeps rolling for a final two minutes into group devotional singing, introduced from the stage as a place for everyone to sing together.
The invitation given was deliberately wide. "You may sing from your body. You may sing to yourself. You may sing to your master if you have one." People who wanted to came forward in their own time. Nobody was moved along.
The session is worth watching for the sequencing alone. Priess builds the state with the breath, opens the memory while the state is open, gives the memory something to hear, and then closes the whole thing back into the body before anyone stands up.

Frequently asked questions
What kind of breathwork does Nataliya Priess lead in this session?
A connected two-part breath done lying down to music. You inhale into the belly, inhale again into the chest, and exhale through the mouth, with no pause between the three and the mouth open throughout. She asks participants to cover their eyes and follow her voice. The session moves through active breathing, an inner child sequence, sound release, and a closing visualization.
How long is the session, and where does the practice actually start?
The video runs forty-two minutes. The first six are the room being organized: mats moved to the healing temple, vendors asked to pause, microphones sorted out. Priess starts her instructions at about 5:56, the quiet nose breathing begins around 7:20, and the active mouth breathing starts around 11:00. She brings everyone back to the body at about 37:50.
How intense does this session get?
Intense enough that people cry and scream audibly on the recording. The turning point is the inner child sequence around twenty minutes in, when she asks where you lost your way and whether you betrayed yourself. She invites sound rather than quiet, then has the room shake the energy out physically. She calls the experience psychedelic if you breathe the way she asks.
What do I need to follow along at home?
Somewhere to lie flat, something to cover your eyes, and audio loud enough to hear her over the music. Start at around the six-minute mark to skip the room logistics. Be aware this is a live room captured on video rather than a produced course, so her voice sometimes sits under the music and the cues are short and repetitive by design.
Does she give any health or safety guidance before the session?
No. In this recording she gives no screening questions, no medical guidance, and no contraindications. Her only stated condition is that you breathe exactly the way she instructs, because the effect depends on the pattern. Anything else you want to know about whether strong breathwork suits your own body is a question for a qualified person, because it is not answered anywhere in the video.
